Tehran (IP) - The Spokeswoman for Iran’s Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari said that 348,013 people from 404,648 coronavirus patients have recovered from COVID-19.

Iran PressIran News: Lari said on Monday in her presser that according to the definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 14, 2020, 2,619 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed, out of whom 1,382 of patients were hospitalized.

In the past 24 hours, the spokeswoman said 156 COVID-19 patients lost their lives, bringing the total deaths to 23,313.

3,798 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, she added.

"Around 3,586,848 COVID-19 diagnostic tests have been conducted in the country," the health ministry spokeswoman noted.

According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Tehran, Mazandaran, Gilan, Qom, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, East Azerbaijan, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Yazd, Zanjan, and Qazvin are regarded as red zones.

Also, the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Alborz, Fars, Lorestan, Hormozgan, Ardabil, Bushehr, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, South Khorasan, Markazi, Ilam, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Golestan, and Khuzestan are on alert.
