Iran voices solidarity with Tajik nation over fighting COVID-19

Tehran (IP)- A group of Iranian cultural and political figures expressed solidarity with the people of Tajikistan fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

Iran Press/Iran News: In a video message, the faculty member of Geopolitical Institute of Farabi University Mohammad Hassan Sanati, the head of Ferdowsi Scientific hub of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mohammad Jafar Yahaqi, and the expert in charge of cultural relations development in Central Asia Mohammad Hossein Abedini expressed their solidarity and empathy with Tajik people.  

More than 4,971 people in Tajikistan have been infected with the coronavirus, of which 50 have died. 

Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari on June 13 said that according to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 13 in the country, 2,410 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed and the number of patients with this disease reached 184,955 and also, Fortunately, 146,748 patients have recovered and discharged so far.
