Iran Press/Asia: Mohammad Javad Zarif and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow discussed the different dimensions of bilateral relations and the most important regional and international issues.
Iran's foreign minister has travelled to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, heading a high ranking political and economic delegation.
In late January, Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Turkmen counterpart, Wafa Khadzhiev, held a round of political consultations in Tehran.
The officials explored joint solutions and plans to develop political and economic collaborations.
The two sides also stressed their will to maintain the current level of cooperation and called for efforts to create new capacities in bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of energy and transit.
Araqchi and Khadzhiev reached an agreement on upgrading the roadmap for expanding bilateral ties, considering new developments. 101/213
