African Union member states expelled the Israeli ambassador to Ethiopia during a summit, signaling growing continental opposition to the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza.

Why it matters:

The African Union's expulsion of the Israeli envoy and its strong condemnation of the regime’s war crimes in Gaza highlight a deepening global isolation of the Zionist regime and strengthen the position of the Resistance Front in international diplomacy. The move aligns with the growing voice of justice-seeking nations against genocide and occupation.

What they're saying:

Participants of the 38th African Union Summit, recently held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, issued a strongly worded final communiqué condemning the Zionist regime’s atrocities.

The communiqué further called for the immediate halt to normalization of ties and cooperation with Israel until its occupation and aggression against Palestine come to an end. It also demanded the immediate release of all Palestinian prisoners, especially women and children, and rejected the forced displacement of Palestinians as a violation of international law.

Go deeper:

Since the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime has killed 50,752 Palestinians and injured 115,475 others in Gaza through continuous and brutal attacks. These crimes have been widely condemned by independent nations, Islamic countries, and resistance movements across the globe, affirming that the voice of truth will never be silenced.
