"At present, the development and deepening of Iran's regional power has made any decision to confront the Islamic Republic difficult which will be followed by unimaginable costs," Maj.-Gen. Gholam Ali Rashid, the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, said in a Sunday meeting with security officials and experts of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
"Today, the Zionist regime has more than the past understood the Islamic Republic of Iran's power in the region and will avoid testing it because it cannot manage confrontation against Iran and cannot bear its costs," he added.
He noted that Iran had succeeded in defeating Daesh terrorist group in the region and restoring stability to Syria and Iraq, stressing that Tehran had also increased its deterrence power to counter military and security threats.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters is considered one of the most prestigious and highest-level operation command centers, and played a significant role during the Iraq-imposed war by coordinating operations between the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and army operation command centers.
