The Turkish media have widely reflected the statements made by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Iran nuclear deal and the country's nuclear technology in an interview with American TV channel CBS.

Sat 7 Turk news network commented on Mohammad Javad Zarif's warning of a possible US exit from the nuclear deal reached between Iran and six world powers in 2015, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), quoting the Iranian foreign minister as saying that Iran would resume its uranium enrichment activities in case the deal is broken by the US.

It also quoted Zarif as saying that the Islamic Republic would act based on its interests and has some options to implement.

CNN Turk TV network published a report on its website under title of 'Our reaction will not be pleasant' in reference to Iranian FM's warning to the US and wrote the tension is high between Iran and the United States.

It quoted Zarif as saying 'We have put a number of options for ourselves, and those options are ready including options that would involve resuming at a much greater speed our nuclear activities. Those options are ready to be implemented and we will make the necessary decision when we see fit.'

Other Turkish online media too reflected Zarif's reaction to a possible US pull-out from the JCPOA and his warning that Iran's reaction would be severe and unpleasant.

Star newspaper published the news of Iranian FM's trip to New York and his interview with CBS in which he said the US exist from the nuclear deal will result in Iran's resumption of its nuclear program at a much faster speed.

Elsewhere in his interview with CBS, the Iranian foreign minister said 'Obviously the rest of the world cannot ask us to unilaterally and one-sidedly implement a deal that has already been broken.

The US administration has done a great deal over the past year to kill Iran nuclear deal.

Trump is expected to announce his decision regarding suspending sanctions against Iran and continuing the implementation of the JCPOA on May 12.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already confirmed ten times Iran's commitment to the landmark July 2015 international deal.

Zarif arrived in New York on Thursday evening and elaborated on the purpose of his trip and also on Iran nuclear deal.

Iranian Foreign Minister is also scheduled to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) High-level Meeting on Sustaining Peace.

The event is to be held from April 24-25 in the United Nations General Assembly.
