Zarif is due to attend an extraordinary trilateral meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. The three will discuss the latest developments in Syria.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Lavrov and Zarif will also discuss the situation around Iran's nuclear deal, after the United States and France threatened to scrap the accord just days ago.
Earlier this month, the presidents of Iran, Russia and Turkey, the three guarantor states of de-escalation zones in Syria, held a meeting in Turkey's Ankara to discuss ways for peaceful settlement of the crisis in the Arab state.
