Iran Press/ America: The US Company, Google closed the Iran Press News Agency's YouTube account on Friday 14 February without any prior notice despite the fact that the admin of the Iranian news agency has always observed the media-based laws and regulations.
Usually, a warning message is sent before a channel is blocked on YouTube, no such message was received by Iran Press International news agency.
The coincidence of this event, with the shutting down of the Iranian Spanish-language television network, Hispan TV, indicates that IRIB's World Service social networks have been targeted. This is the second time that YouTube is blocking IranPress.
Last May, just days after the official launch of IranPress, YouTube also shut down its official website account.
Iran Press News Agency has launched its satellite video broadcasting test 24 hours a day since last year on EUTELSAT 21B - 11520 frequency, which provides viewers with the latest live news reports and production reports.
Iran Press has also managed to promote its activities on the web with an Arabic-English bilingual website, as well as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram and Soroush messengers.
Iran Press News Agency specializes in video-on-demand, supplying live video feeds mostly from Iran and the Middle East to the world's top media and news organizations.
