Sana'a (IP) - Yemen’s Armed Forces have announced a series of bold strikes targeting key Israeli and US assets in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and a direct response to American and British aggression against Yemen.

Iran Press/West Asia: Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen's armed forces, revealed on Tuesday that a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile was used to strike Ben Gurion International Airport, situated 20 kilometers southeast of Tel Aviv.

"We targeted Ben Gurion International Airport with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile," Saree declared in a statement.

In addition to the airport strike, Saree detailed a separate attack on a power station south of occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) with a Zulfiqar ballistic missile. The Zulfiqar, known for its radar-evading capabilities and range exceeding 2,000 kilometers (1,242 miles), achieved its intended objective.

According to Saree, both strikes were successful and precise.

Naval and Drone Assault on US Aircraft Carrier

The Yemeni armed forces also launched a "multi-pronged operation" against the USS Harry S. Truman, an aircraft carrier of the United States Navy, stationed off Yemen's coast. Saree stated that the attack was carried out with a coordinated arsenal of kamikaze drones and cruise missiles, thwarting preparations for a major US airstrike on Yemen.

"This operation involved a large number of kamikaze drones as well as cruise missiles," Saree said, without disclosing further details about the extent of damage inflicted.
