Sanaa (IP) - Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman announced a drone strike at Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia.

Iran PressMiddle East: In response to the escalation of attacks and Yemen's complete siege by the US-backed Saudi coalition, the Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree said that the army drone unit carried out attacks against the Saudi "Abha" International Airport this afternoon.

Saree added that the operation was carried out with "Qasif-2K" long-range drones and that the drones hit the target accurately.

The Yemeni army also targeted Saudi Arabia's Abha airport with drones on Monday and Thursday last week.

Next to King Khalid Air Base, Abha Airport is one of the two places where most of the coalition's airstrikes against Yemen are carried out.
