IP - Yemeni ballistic missile attacks on early Friday canceled flights at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport, forced tens of thousands of settlers into shelters, and resulted in 18 injuries due to a stampede.

Iran Press/West Asia: Israel’s emergency services confirmed that 18 settlers were injured while attempting to reach shelter during the strike.

Failure of Israel's missile defense system to intercept the projectile led to air-raid sirens sounding across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the Gush Dan area, the Shephelah region, and parts of the occupied West Bank.

According to an initial statement from the IDF, the sirens were triggered due to a missile crossing into Israeli airspace.

According to the Hebrew media, the Yemeni missile attack halted flights at Ben Gurion Airport, with at least four flights from Europe told to wait and not near the airport.

The strike came hours after Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, and the port city of Hodeidah.

After the Zionist regime began a genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation.
