Athens (IP) - Alida Guevara, the daughter of the famous Cuban revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara, is currently in Athens for the launch of her book (50 years after her father's death) in Greece.

Iran Press/Europe: On the first day of her visit, she met the communities of different countries living in Greece at the office of the Greek Forum of Migrants.

On this occasion, Alida Guevara said that the nations of the world especially the Muslim countries should not only raise their voices against the brutal genocide of the Palestinians by the Israelis in Palestine but also play their role in the field to stop this barbaric act.
"Israel's target is not only Palestine but also other Muslim countries as well, as a pediatrician, I want to go to Palestine but I'm not being allowed to go there", she added.

She is a doctor at the William Soler Children's Hospital in Havana and has worked as a physician in Angola, Ecuador, and Nicaragua.

Expressing her happiness, she said,  "My father Che Guevara used to say that solidarity is the weapon with which communities can achieve their goals, otherwise they have no rights left in society and I am feeling different today as it is heartening to see the communities of different countries together."

In the event children from different countries sang the songs of hope and got appreciation while famous dishes from different communities were also offered to guests. 204
