Iran Press/ Iran News: In a press conference before the derby, Mahmoud Fekri said in response to Iran Press: "The conditions for holding the derby have nothing to do with the position of Esteghlal and Persepolis in the standings, and no team is a winner in the derby in advance."
The head coach of Esteghlal FC said: "Esteghlal players have been told not to be proud and deceived from the current standing of Persepolis in the Premier League table."
"Derby is a match in which both teams play with all their might, in which, firstly, they are not to be losers and then, they work hard to win," he added.
