Tehran (IP)- In the meeting of the cabinet on Wednesday morning, which was held as an extraordinary one, Iran's President called the events in Gaza a grievous exhibition of inhumane actions.

Iran PressIran news: Ebrahim Raisi called the barbaric bombing of the Jabalia Camp and the killing of innocent people the continuation of the Israeli regime's war crimes and crimes against humanity in the past 20 days and referred to the direct role of America in these crimes through the provision of weapons and military aid and the political support of this regime.

The President called the events in Gaza a grievous exhibition of inhumane actions, including child killing, attacks on hospitals, the use of prohibited bombs, and the all-around siege of the people, and called the prevention of relief and the sending of food and medical aid to the region, before the eyes of the international community as a clear sign of the failure of international organizations to establish security.

Raisi stated, "These crimes showed that many international treaties and the UN Charter have lost their validity and effectiveness, and it is necessary for the international community to revise these mechanisms at the request of public opinion."

The President described the decisive vote of the members of the General Assembly to approve the cease-fire resolution in Gaza as the reason for the isolation of America in the international community and described the approach of some Western countries in accompanying the Israeli regime in infanticide and crimes against humanity as a display of hypocrisy, deception and double standards in international systems.

The death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has climbed to 8,525, including 3,542 children and 2,187 women, the Health Ministry in the blockaded enclave said Tuesday.
