Iran Press/ Middle East: "Saudi Arabia, Al-Qaeda and its allies suffered the fastest and worst defeats in Yemen and were expelled from their bases in al-Bayda," Sanaa Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi tweeted.
"al-Ezzi added that we fully understand that accepting such a defeat is not easy. We prepared more and more horrific events for them to prove that they are always wrong. So wait.
"Our people won in al-Bayda and inflicted the worst defeat on al-Qaeda," he said. Unfortunately, the Saudi coalition continues its attacks and shows that it is not ready for peace. The international community continues to accept the false legitimacy of parties made up of forces such as al-Qaeda.
The Yemeni army and popular committees carried out two military operations south of al-Bayda on Thursday and retook bases. More than 80 al-Qaeda leaders and members were killed and wounded in the operations.
