Iran Press/Iran news: Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said the main war in the human societies from the beginning has been a war between True Religion and False Religion substituted for the former through deceit.
He referred to Britain as the Old colonialist and manipulater that had used a deceitful device of Wahhabism against the Muslim Ummah.
He said as the US and its allies such as the UK found their deceits ineffable, they resort to hard war and spreading Takfirism.
In the wake of the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution, grounds were prepared and paved for plots against the Islamic Republic of Iran both in soft and hard wars.
He appreciated the Islamic seminaries for their high engagement against the very wars and especially praised the Grand Shia Marja Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi as the pioneer of fighting Takfirism along Side Martyr Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani who fought Takfirism in hard war.
He said that Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi's efforts were such that the Grand Mufti of Egypt, the Sheikh of al-Adhar, offically announced that Shia and Sunni Muslims are two wings of the Islamic Ummah and Wahhabism is not part of Islam.
Such position taking in the Muslim World was initiated by the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the Grand Seminary Ayatollah Makarem's efforts, he noted.
Ayatollah Araki made the remarks in a ceremony to commemorate the prominent martyred Iranian General, Qassem Soleimani and the Second-in-Command of Iraq' Popular Military Force (PMF) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in the Holy city of Qom on Saturday.
