Iran ranks first in the region regarding the production of biopharmaceutical and they are exported to dozens of countries across the world, he added.
Sattari went on to say that Iran is among top 5 countries of the world which have the most growth in entrepreneurship rate between 2016 and 2017.
Iran’s global ranking in scientific productions has had a significant hike from 34 to 16, while standing at top of region’s ranking, he noted.
The Iranian official further added that Iran’s share in developing the fields of biotechnology, nanotechnology, renewable energy, cognitive sciences and stem cell have experienced a unique growth.
He made the remarks on Thursday in the 2nd International Iran-Europe Economic and Technological Conference held in Brussels, Belgium.
The 2nd International Iran-Europe Economic and Technological Conference is currently underway in Brussels on June 21-22 with the aim of countering fears of doing business with Iran after the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
