Iran Press/ America: While the World Games archery competition called 'Birmingham 2022 World Games' is being held in America, however; due to the non-issuance of visas by the Americans, Iranian national players failed to participate in these competitions.
Only three days after the US refused to issue visas to the members of the Iranian national karate team, the news of not issuing visas to the members of the Iranian Archery Federation was also published.
According to the report of the Archery Federation, the World Archery Federation had given two irreplaceable quotas to Iran to participate in 'Birmingham 2022 World Games' and with the invitation of the World Federation, 'Gisa Baybordi' and 'Ramazan Biabani' were supposed to participate in these games. Visas were not issued for these athletes, and there is practically no opportunity for Iranian representatives to participate in these games.
This is in the circumstances that all measures to obtain a visa had been taken by the Iranian Shooting Federation and the Iranian archers were waiting for the issuance of visas while attending the American Embassy in Armenia.
Last year, the Americans refused to give visas to 'Alireza Dabir', the head of the Iranian Wrestling Federation, and members of the wrestling team.
