Iran Press/ Iran News: The meeting between the Russian Foreign Minister and the US Undersecretary of State began an hour ago at the official banquet hall of the Russian Foreign Ministry on Spridinovka Street in central Moscow.
Lavrov and Bigen first attended a luncheon, after which talks began in a bilateral format.
On behalf of Russia, in addition to Lavrov, Sergei Ryabkov, his deputy and senior Russian nuclear negotiator, and on behalf of the United States, in addition to Bigen, John Sullivan, the US ambassador to Moscow, attended the meeting.
One of the main topics of discussion today is the issue of Belarus, but the two sides were also discussing arms control, as the main issue between the two countries.

Ryabkov had said that the situation in Belarus would not be the only subject of foreign talks in Moscow and that the agenda of the talks was broader, including bilateral issues between Russia and the United States.
