Iran Press/ America: The rotating chairman of the UN Security Council Linda Thomas-Greenfield claimed that the United States remains deeply concerned by violence in the West Bank and the occupied Palestinian territories.
"We strongly condemn Palestinian terrorist attacks against Israelis, including this morning’s shooting attack near Hebron, the August 19th attack outside Huwara that killed a father and son, and the August 5th attack in Tel Aviv that killed an Israeli police officer," said she, without mentioning the daily attacks of the Zionist forces and illegal settlers on the defenseless Palestinian people.
"The United States remains deeply concerned by the damage in the Jenin camp – including to UNRWA installations – as a result of the July Israeli security force operation," Greenfield said.
She was referring to the Zionist regime military attack on Jenin on Monday, 03 July 2023. The Zionist regime military launched air raids on the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, dropping missiles from helicopters at midnight in a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
Residents said at least 10 Israeli airstrikes hit buildings in Jenin, sending smoke billowing up from the wreckage, and reported spotting a convoy of Israeli armored vehicles moving towards the city’s vast refugee camp. The Palestinian health ministry said the raids killed at least 11 people and wounded 50.
"The United States also remains deeply concerned by Hezbollah’s provocative actions along the blue line, which represent an increasing threat to Lebanon’s peace and security, as well as Israel’s," Greenfield said elsewhere.
"...And we will continue to remain vigilant about Iran’s support for Hezbollah and other militia groups carrying out destabilizing activities in the region," said she, repeating Washington's claims about the regional influence of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Supporting terrorist groups like ISIS in the region, constant support for the Zionist regime crimes, and war-mongering around the world are just examples of the destabilizing actions of the United States of America. In contrast, the Islamic Republic, while supporting the defenseless people of the region, has always moved toward peace, stability, and security in the Middle East.
