Iran Press/ Iran news: The Cuban embassy in Tehran on Wednesday, in a statement, while emphasizing on the development of economic and trade relations with Iran, considers US sanctions policies as a failure."
Cuban embassy statement further said: "Cuba reiterates its call for the lifting of the unjust and inhumane economic, trade and financial blockade imposed on the people of Cuba by the US government for more than six decades, including sanction on medical items amid the COVID-19 Pandemic which is more like genocide.
"The United States is trying to change the political system in a free and independent country through economic pressures to create dissatisfaction among people," the statement said and stressed that "the economic blockade is a major obstacle to Cuba's economic and social development and the health of Cuban people."
The Cuban embassy in Tehran emphasized that "The policy of sanctions in Iran has also failed."
Despite UN resolutions, the White House continues to impose unilateral sanctions on Havana to end US sanctions against Cuba and the international community.
