IP - US officials are increasingly concerned that an all-out war could break out after Israel and Hezbollah exchanges of fire that intensified in the past week amid eight months of Israeli war on Gaza, CBS reported.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Senior Biden adviser and special envoy, Amos Hochstein arrived in occupied lands and met with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and War Minister Yoav Gallant on Monday in an attempt to avoid further escalation between Israel and Hezbollah, a White House official told " Times of Israel".

Hochstein also will meet former war cabinet member Benny Gantz, opposition leader Yair Lapid, and Zionist Regime President Isaac Herzog separately on Monday night.

CBS News reported last week that US officials were increasingly concerned that an all-out war could break out after over eight months of escalating exchanges of fire between Hezbollah and IOF (Israeli Occupied Forces) amid the Israeli war in Gaza.

Hochstein brokered an Israel-Lebanon maritime boundary agreement in  2022 after two years of negotiations.

Biden Special Envoy Amos Hochstein will visit Lebanon on Thursday to meet Lebanese officials.

Israel has expressed openness to a diplomatic solution to the conflict with Hezbollah but has said it would launch an all-out war against Hezbollah to restore security to the north if an agreement isn’t reached.

After Israeli Forces assassinated a Hezbollah senior military commander, Hezbollah for days targeted northern Occupied lands with barrages of missiles.
