Iran Press/ America: António Guterres wrote on Twitter that while parts of Latin America have become critical areas of COVID-19, the most vulnerable are the most affected.
According to Guterres, as COVID-19 continues to spread worldwide, Latin America and the Caribbean have become a focus of the pandemic.
"In a context where huge inequalities, high levels of informal work, and fragmented health services already exist, the most vulnerable populations and people are once again the most affected. Indigenous peoples and people of African descent, like migrants and refugees, also suffer disproportionately, as vulnerability is multiplied among them," he said.
