London (IP) - Tulip Siddiq, a senior member of the UK's ruling Labour Party and the UK Anti-Corruption Minister, has resigned over allegations of bribery and corruption.

Iran Press/Europe: According to Iran Press News Agency from London, she was forced to resign after several days of controversy over the corruption of the UK Anti-Corruption Minister and increasing calls for her resignation.

While Tulip Siddiq insists that she has not committed corruption, an investigation into the financial corruption of the UK Anti-Corruption Minister is underway.

In response to Tulip Siddiq's resignation request, British Prime Minister Starmer said: "I accept Siddiq's resignation with sadness."

During the Nazanin Zaghari case, the minister repeatedly interviewed various media outlets, including opposition media outlets, on the pretext that Richard Ratcliffe, Nazanin Zaghari's husband, lives in her constituency. During her interviews, she made many accusations against Tehran and Iranian officials.
