Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and numerous Islamic and Western nations have earlier condemned Israel's attack on Syria.
In a phone call between the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar on Thursday both sides stressed the need for serious efforts and actions to stop the Israeli regime's attacks on Syria's infrastructure and the occupation of more of its territories.
In another phone call on the same day, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed regional developments with a focus on Syria.
In their discussion, both parties acknowledged the new circumstances in Syria, stressing the importance of preserving Syria's independence and territorial integrity, and ensuring the country's security and stability. The ministers also highlighted the urgent need to stop Israel's ground and air assaults on Syria.
