Iran Press/America: US President Donald Trump claimed in an early morning tweet on Wednesday that none of the Democratic candidates for the US presidency can defeat him in the 2020 election. He also called Democrats' attempt to impeach him "illegal".
"You would think there is no way that any of the Democrat Candidates that we witnessed last night could possibly become President of the United States. Now you see why they have no choice but to push a totally illegal and absurd Impeachment of one of the most successful Presidents!” Trump tweeted.
In another tweet, Trump called Democratic candidates "clowns" and claimed that the economy would crash if any of those candidates were elected as a president.
"Our record Economy would crash, just like in 1929, if any of those clowns became President!" Trump tweeted.
House Democrats last month launched an impeachment inquiry after it was revealed that Trump had asked the Ukrainian leader to investigate US Democratic candidate Joe Biden and his son.
Trump has maintained that he did nothing wrong regarding Biden and Ukraine, saying it was focused on fighting "corruption" and not politics.
