Iran Press/ Iran news: Hashem Dadashpour, Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, said: "Increasing the education of foreign students in Iran shows that the Islamic Republic has good scientific capacities and can accept elite students around the world."
Referring to the migration of Iranian students abroad, Dadashpour said: "In the last 10 years, the process of student migration has been neither intensifying nor slow, and Iran is ranked 94th among countries in this regard."
Moreover, the Iranian official stated that the trend of scientific production in Iran has grown significantly and is ranked 15th in the world, and added: Student migration in Iran occurs mostly in postgraduate and doctoral programs.
Dadashpour also informed about the qualitative growth of scientific productions in Iran and said that Iran is ranked 20th globally.
He also added: "Iran's position in terms of innovation is ranked 59th."
