The veteran Malaysian politician, in response to the Hague court's verdict against the leaders of the Israeli regime, said that deserved to be executed.

ran PressAsia: According to Iran Press from Kuala Lumpur, Mahathir Mohamad, after giving a speech at the Terengganu 2024 International Summit in front of reporters, supported the decision of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Prime Minister Netanyahu and former Defense Minister of the Israeli regime Yoav Gallant as war criminals, stating: "They deserve to be executed."
He described this decision as justified and noted: "The leaders of Israel are war criminals due to the genocide in Palestine and must be punished."
The former Malaysian Prime Minister, pointing out that killing even one person is a crime, added: "The massacre of 44,000 Muslim men, women, and children is a very serious crime and these two (Netanyahu and Gallant) must be punished.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim also welcomed the decision of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, describing it as based on the law and evidence of the Israeli regime's ongoing cruelty, crimes, and killings.
The International Criminal Court in The Hague announced on Thursday that it had issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant on charges of war crimes in the Palestinian territories, including Gaza.
The warrant comes as Israel's genocidal attacks on Gaza enter their second year, with the number of Palestinian victims reaching about 44,000, most of them women and children, and more than 103,000 injured.

In December 2023, South Africa opened a case in the Hague against the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza. Since October 2023, Israel has killed about 40,000 civilians, mostly women, and children, in its attacks and displaced about two million Palestinians without food, shelter, and other necessities.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) announced on Thursday that it has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

In its statement, the ICC emphasized that Israel's acceptance of the court’s jurisdiction was not required for the warrants to be valid. The court accused Netanyahu and Gallant of engaging in acts that constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, including the use of starvation as a weapon of war.
