Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at a meeting of Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus to discuss the COVID-19 vaccine held at Shahid-Beheshti University on Sunday, Alireza Zali noted that most of the healthcare providers are in Tehran, and they are given priority to receive the vaccine because they are the most vulnerable groups to be in direct contact with the infected ones.
As the next keynote speaker, the Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's Health Commission Hossein-Ali Shahriari stated that today, significant steps had been taken to contain the coronavirus by knowledge-based companies.
Following health guidelines and social distancing is the best way to contain the coronavirus, and people need to follow health protocols carefully before getting vaccinated, Shahriari stressed.
