Iran Press/Asia: In the meeting held on Thursday, Abbas Mousavi referred to the common grounds between Iran and Azerbaijan Republic and announced his country's readiness for holding joint exhibitions and conducting cultural and scientific programs.
The Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Karimov, for his part, congratulated the occasion of Nowruz to the Iranian nation, calling the ancient occasion the intermediary link of the two nation's friendship and one of the historical and cultural symbols of the two countries.
Karimov also expressed hope that the historical bridge 'Khoda Afarin' would be registered as a symbol of mutual friendship between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Azerbaijan's Republic and be repaired with the joint effort of the two countries.
