President Raisi received Turkish FM

Tehran (IP) - Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi in meeting Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, said that Iran-Turkey cordial relation secures regional peace and stability.

Iran PressIran News: Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi received Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in a meeting with the attendance Hossein Amir-Abdollahian Iran's Foreign Minister.

In the meeting, Iran President called for boosting the Tehran-Ankara relations and suggested that two countries' regional relations expand to relation in the regional arena.

President Raisi noted to the Islamic Republic of Iran's approach on the regional countries ability to solve problems without interventions of foreign and said: "Foreign countries intervention in the region have no Advantech expect tension and unrest, as we saw that US 20 years presence in the Afghanistan led to just killing and bloodsheds and finally Afghanistan problems solved with Afghan people participation and counties of region cooperation." 

Iran-Turkey comprehensive cooperation

Ebrahim Raisi, in the meeting Cavusoglu, said that the development of relations between two countries, especially in trade and economy, is in the interest of both nations.

Raisi also referred to the presence of ISIS terrorist groups in the region said: "As US officials have acknowledged, ISIS created by themselves and naturally this terrorist organization acts at the behest of the Americans."

Regarding the Turkish Foreign Minister's remarks on cooperation with Iran to stabilize and develop trade relations in the South Caucasus region, Raisi said: "Iran's relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkey go beyond neighborly relations based on deep and long-standing religious and cultural ties. We should not allow others to damage our relationships."

Emphasizing that his country seeks to raise the level of economic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Turkish Foreign Minister said: "Turkey considers Iran's new government a result-oriented government and is determined to increase the level of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran."

Cavusoglu also said: "We seek to establish and strengthen cooperation with Iran to increase stability and trade relations in the South Caucasus."

On Monday morning, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met and discussed with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and then two Foreign Ministers held a joint press conference.

Amir-Abdollahian said that the two sides had agreed on drawing a roadmap for future long-standing bilateral cooperation, including improvement of bilateral investment, private sector investment, and effective ways of solving trade barriers.
