Iran Press/ Asia: Following a terrorist attack on a Shia mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, on Thursday, scores of Muslims were martyred and wounded.
Hours later, ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
Mohammad Asif Vaziri, the spokesman for the Taliban's Police, says the former ruler of ISIS in Afghanistan, Abdulhamid Sangaryar, has been arrested as the designer of the suicide attack on the mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif.
The spokesman said he had escaped from the Taliban ambush several times before.
Mazar-e-Sharif public sources announced that an explosion in "Seh-Dokan Mosque," the largest and oldest Shiite mosque in the center of Mazar-e-Sharif, killed and injured many people during noon prayers.
