The Syrian army supported by the Russian Aerospace Force delivered missile strikes against gathering areas, control posts, and positions of militants, Captain Oleg Ignasyuk, the deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria, said at a briefing.

Iran Press/West Asia: "The Syrian Arab Army is thwarting attacks of terrorists with the assistance of the Russian Aerospace Force. Missile and bomb strikes were delivered over the past day against concentration areas of militants, control posts, depots and artillery positions, At least 300 militants were killed," he said.

The operation to thwart the aggression of extremists continues, Ignasyuk added.

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allied terrorist factions based in Idlib and Latakia countrysides with the support of the US, Israel, and Turkey began assaults on the northwestern Aleppo governate as soon as a ceasefire came into effect between Lebanon’s Hezbollah Resistance movement and Israel. Reports say the terrorists have so far captured about 40 percent of Aleppo, with the Syrian army appearing to have been caught off guard by the sudden attacks that were not supposed to happen under the Astana Peace Process.

Photos and footage published by the terrorists show a big majority of them are not even Syrian, with fighters from Uzbekistan, China, and even Ukraine joining the HTS led by a figure linked to Al-Qaeda.
