Syirian President in recovery phase from Covid-19

The Presidency of the Syria Republic has announced that the health condition of President Bashar al-Assad's and Mrs. Asma al-Assad gradually returning to the natural level and that they are in the recovery phase from infection with Covid-19 virus, Sana reported.

Iran Press/Middle East: In the news published on its page on Facebook on Wednesday, the Presidency said that nine days after President al-Assad and Mrs. Asma were infected with (Covid-19) virus, the laboratory and radiological indicators related to their health condition are gradually returning to their normal values, and they are reassuring, according to the national medical team supervising their treatment, which affirms that they are in the recovery phase.

It added that as previously confirmed by the Presidency of the Republic, President al-Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad continue their work during their period of home quarantine, and they will return to practice their work normally after the end of the quarantine period and after making sure that the PCR test result is negative.

On March 8th, the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic announced that President al-Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad are infected with the coronavirus and are in good health and a stable health condition.
