Iran Press/Iran News: Winter precipitations in the southeast of the country began on Thursday night, which has been reported unprecedented in the last two decades and caused massive flooding.
Flood poured into Sistan and Baluchestan and Kerman, inundating around 350 villages in the provinces, interrupting the people live in the area.
Heavy rainfall over the last two days in Baluchestan district in southern Sistan and Baluchestan has caused seasonal rivers to flood in many cities in the region and has caused extensive damage to infrastructure and people's homes.
Also in Kerman, according to Majid Saeedi, director of crisis management of the governorate, many villages are under siege and floods have not yet been reopened because of the continued rainfall. Relief workers have been able to provide first aid to the residents of these villages.
According to the Meteorological Agency precipitation has reached more than 100 mm in some areas.
