Iran Press/ West Asia: With the appointment of Yahya al-Sinwar as the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, the Palestinian resistance movement proved that it is a strong autonomous movement, Ahmed Adbul Hadi told Iran Press correspondent in Beirut.
He said that the appointment had a message for the Israeli regime, noting that the regime's intention behind the assassination of Ismail Haniya was to destroy Hamas unity.
Ahmed Abdul Hadi stated that the Israeli regime's targeting of Hamas leaders has a long history and that the selection of Yahya Al-Sinwar shortly after the assassination of Haniyeh shows the unity, strength, and coherence of the Hamas movement.
The presence of Hamas' new leader in Gaza shows that the field guides politics and the priority is to rely on the field, an issue that is an important message to the Zionist regime.
Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas elected its well-known military commander, Yahya Sinwar as the new political leader after the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh assassinated by Israelis in Tehran.
Haniyeh was assassinated in an attack on his residence in the early hours of July 31, in the Iranian capital Tehran, where he had attended the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s newly-elected president, Masoud Pezeshkian, a day earlier.
