Iran Press/Iran news: Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon, Ayatollah Khatami said unity and solidarity have been the key to enemy failure in the past 40 years after the Islamic Revolution's triumph.
Ayatollah Khatami said this year, the '22 Bahman' rallies will be the most glorious of its kind, much to the annoyance of the enemies of the Islamic Republic.
'Don't underestimate the rallies. These (the rallies) have been representing a huge political operation in the course of 40 years; especially this year enemies wait to see whether people will come on the scene despite economic pressure; contrary to the enemy's wishes, the 40-year rallies will be held more gloriously this year.'
Iran’s missiles to hit adversaries like a bolt of lightning
Elsewhere in his sermon, Ayatollah Khatami referred to the unveiling of 'Dezful' ballistic missile with a range of 1000 kilometers and said it is in line with Iran's policy of deterrence and defense.
He added: "The message of the 'Dezful' missile is that if the enemy is unwise enough to embark on the slightest aggression against us, this missile will hit the enemy like a bolt of lightning."
Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami referred to the 'Dezful' ballistic missile, which was unveiled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps along with an underground missile factory yesterday, warning the enemies of the Islamic Republic that any aggression will be responded to by a barrage of missiles.
Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader went on to thank the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the judicial branch of the government, for commuting the sentences and pardoning of 50000 convicts, paving the way for their return to their families and loved ones.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami also thanked the leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, for his recent comments on the occasion of 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution. 211/103
