Iran Press/Iran news: "Iran's strategic policy is to reduce tensions through dialogue but the country is fully prepared to surprise aggressors through a crushing and powerful answer to possible evil actions," Ali Shamkhani said on Wednesday, Iran Press reported.
The secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council stressed that the crisis in Yemen has no military solution and can end only within the framework of Yemeni-Yemeni talks and without the interference of third parties.
Shamkhani noted that the Yemeni army designs and builds its own weapons. Blaming other countries for the attacks on Saudi oil installations is just escaping ahead not to account for wasting resources to purchase advanced but ineffective military equipment from the Western states.
"Meantime, Iran monitors, with full preparedness, any intention and move for the purpose of aggression against the country or the interests of the Islamic Republic and will give a decisive and all-out response to possible mischiefs in the harshest way which can surprise the aggressors," Shamkhani said.
In response to the ongoing crimes of the Saudi coalition in Yemen, the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees' forces on Saturday targeted 'Baqiq' and 'Khurais' oil refineries in eastern Saudi Arabia.
Nevertheless, the US Administration blames Iran to be behind the Saudi oil attacks.
In addition, US President Donald Trump said the country could respond militarily to the attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities. 101/104/218
