This is Salman's first public foreign trip since becoming Saudi crown prince last year.
The office of Egyptian President announced in a statement on Friday that the Saudi crown prince would arrive in Cairo on Sunday for a three-day visit.
Salman will then travel to the United Kingdom on March 7 and to the United States, Saudi Arabia’s closest Western ally, on March 19.
Riyadh and Cairo have boosted ties since 2013, when Sisi took power following the military ouster of Egypt’s first democratically-elected president, Mohamed Morsi.
Saudi Arabia backed Sisi in staging the coup in Egypt.
Egypt supports Saudi Arabia in its war in Yemen and last year joined a Saudi-led boycott of Qatar and agreed to hand over two Red Sea islands to Riyadh despite widespread criticism back in Cairo.
The visit comes weeks ahead of an election in which general-turned-president Sisi is seeking a second term and as Egyptian forces struggle to confront Daesh terrorists in the Sinai Peninsula.
Sisi is almost guaranteed election victory after opponents have been imprisoned by Egyptian authorities, leaving only one little-known candidate who has publicly supported him.
