Salehi: Cooperation between Iran, IAEA reviews during Grossi's visit to Tehran

Tehran (IP) - The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) criticized the leak of confidential information of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), And said that in a meeting with the IAEA's director-general, considerations will be discussed within the framework of the safeguards agreement and cooperation between the two sides.

Iran PressIran News: Regarding Reuters quoted diplomats that the UN nuclear watchdog found uranium particles at two Iranian sites it inspected after months of stonewalling, which was published on the eve of the visit of Rafael Grossi to Tehran, Salehi added: "After announcing the implementation of Article 6 of the law passed by the parliament's resolution regarding the suspension of the voluntary implementation and submitting a letter to the IAEA in this regard, Rafael Grossi requested an urgent visit to Iran and a meeting with me."

Salehi said: "Unfortunately, the leak of the Agency's confidential information in the international media is an unpleasant process that has been going on for years, and in this regard, the Islamic Republic has repeatedly submitted its objections to the Agency."

Regarding the goals of Grossi's visit to Tehran, Salehi also announced: "In tomorrow's (Sunday) meeting with Grossi, the Agency's considerations will be discussed within the framework of the safeguards agreement and the cooperation of the two parties."
