Russia's Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna criticized the Wall Street Journal for its views on the IAEA Board, saying that the IAEA Board of Governors should take a responsible approach toward the JCPOA.

Iran PressEurope: In response to a Wall Street Journal correspondent Lawrence Norman’s tweet released this morning (Saturday),  Mikhail Ulyanov wrote in a tweet criticizing his view saying:” Interesting views. Indeed, we are running against time. Yes, we have to count out next week.”

He continued: “The window of opportunity to restore full implementation of #JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) soon becomes very narrow. That’s why the session of #IAEA BoG requires very responsible behaviors by all 35 Governors.”

" So where are we on these EU-hosted US, #IranDeal direct nuclear talks which were floated last week? Wrote Lawrence Norman, a Wall Street Journal reporter.

He claimed in this tweet: " No answer yet from Iran. If none by tomorrow you can count out next week. Then we start to get close to Nowruz. -1-?”

Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna had previously stated that “The March session of the #IAEA BG will start on Monday."

Russian top diplomat added that Iran once again will be at the center of attention.

Referring to the recent discussion raised on JCPOA, Ulyanov said that " The common responsibility of all 35 Governors is to ensure that the debates (even heated) do not negatively affect diplomatic efforts aimed at full restoration of #JCPOA. "

The Board of Governors is the decision-making body of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which holds several meetings each year to decide on important issues of the IAEA.
