Iranian President said that bilateral relations of the two Muslim, brotherly and neighbouring countries are so strong that nobody is able to break or disrupt them.

Iran Press/Iran news: President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday night pointed to his recent trip to Iraq at a meeting of the Supreme Economic Coordinating Council that relations between the two neighbouring countries, Muslims and brothers enjoy solid foundation that others cannot disrupt, according to an Iran Press report.

The meeting was attended by Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and other members of the council.

Referring to the achievements of his recent visit to Iraq, Rouhani appreciated hosting of the Iraqi nation and government and described the trip as very positive and a turning point in bilateral relations.

During the meeting, interior and industry, mines and trade ministers presented a work progress report of National Headquarters for Removing Obstacles in the Way of Production and called for further cooperation among relevant institutes to implement the enactments.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Farhad Dezhpasand presented a report on economic ties with China on the eve of holding the Iran-China joint economic commission meeting.

President Rouhani traveled to Iraq for an official three-day visit on 11 March, at the official invitation of his Iraqi counterpart, Barham Salih and Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi holding talks with his Iraqi counterpart, also speaker of the Iraqi parliament, and other senior Iraqi officials.
