Iran Press/Iran News: Hassan Rouhani in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday said that these are the days when we become stronger and stronger against all the conspiracies that were designed by the ill-wishers against people and our country.
"The enemy's first plan was for our economy, which wanted to destroy our economy and put people under economic pressure, and basically the foundations of our economy would not remain and could not continue. They thought we had triple-digit inflation and negative double-digit economic growth, and they thought that they could destabilize the economy in a few months, President Rohani emphasized.
President Rouhani added, "We have gone through difficult days in these two years and a few months, and it was not an easy day for the people but thanks to God, the basis of the country and the system and the framework of the country's economy and people's lives are well managed. Today, basic goods are immediately available to the people. Of course, in addition to abundance, we were interested in a balanced price, which we should do more in this regard."
The president stated that in the production sector, our producers did a great job. That is producers who have done great work in our important industries, to which a large part of non-oil exports depend on today.
Referring to the 10% growth in steel and 49% growth in aluminum compared to last Iranian year (starting on March 21, 2019), Rouhani said: "Production has increased in all our basic industries, meaning that the enemy has not been able to close our large factories, and even factories are working more since last year."
63% increase in exports to Eurasia
Rouhani stated that since the implementation of Iran's agreement with Eurasia Union until the end of June, Iran's exports to Eurasian countries have increased by 63%. Despite the fact that we have had a corona outbreak globally since March and we have been facing restrictions like other countries and the borders are not normal, Iran's exports have increased.
The President stated that the enemy has not knocked us down economically and has not been able to stop our exports, adding: "Of course, there are problems that we must work together to be solved. Some problems are solvable and part is due to sanctions and corona."
He stated that in recent weeks, the enemy has taken other ways, adding: "Another way for the enemy is to create divisions and differences in the country. Earlier this year, despite Corona, the enemy became interested in discord between branches of the government, but we overcame this conspiracy."
