Iran Press/ Middle East: The Iraqi source told Al-Sharq on Wednesday morning that the Turkish consulate in Mosul, Nineveh Province, was hit by two rockets.
Accordingly, some vehicles have been damaged and there have been no immediate reports of any casualties.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Other sources also confirmed that five rockets had hit the Zelikan military base east of Mosul.
Zelikan military base, the headquarters of Turkish forces in the east of Mosul, has been the target of rocket attacks many times in recent days.
The incident comes after the Iraqi government asserted that Turkey was responsible for artillery strikes which killed at least eight people and injured 23 others in a resort area in Zakho District, Duhok Governorate, on July 20.
Ankara, however, has denied responsibility for the attack.
