Iran Press/ Iran News: Delivering a speech at this event, the Director-General of the Asia-Pacific World Assembly of the Ahl al-Bayt, Mohammad Ali Moeenian said that the most important feature of Imam Hossein (PBUH) was guiding people to the right, which is essential for a society to improve.
Another keynote speaker of this ceremony, Seyed Isa Hosseini Mazari, CEO of Voice of Afghan (Avapress) News Agency, elaborated on the messages of Ashura, saying that Hazrat Zeynab (Imam Hossein's sister) as a woman had a critical role after the Ashura event.
Explaining about Ashoura and what happened there proves her significant role as a woman, he added.
Hazrat Zeynab is a role model for women, not only she was active in her society but also she acted based on her religious principles, he added.
"We do not seek war with the Taliban, but the women and the press' rights must not be neglected," he concluded.
The ceremony to honor Religious Afghan activists was held on Thursday evening in Tehran by Afghan Voice News Agency (Avapress).
