Tehran (IP) - Iran's President says his visit to Tajikistan aims to pursue the agreements signed between the two governments.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's President left Tehran for Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan on Wednesday, November 8, and after that, he will visit Uzbekistan.

Before his departure to Dushanbe on Wednesday, Ebrahim Raisi said that the Central Asian countries are among those countries on the administration's agenda to make relations with. 

Raisi referred to his previous visit to Tajikistan- his first trip to the country- and said that the figures show that Iran's ties with Tajikistan have improved compared to the last years. 

He said the visit was carried out at the invitation of Tajik President ImOm Ali Rahmon. 

With regard to his Uzbekistan, Raisi said that he was scheduled to take part in the meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) chaired by Uzbekistan and visit with some Uzbek officials. 

He referred to the issue of Palestine and what was going on in Gaza, the international communities and mechanisms are no longer efficient and just, and the people of the world have noticed this fact. 

Noting that the Islamic Republic is seeking regional negotiations and consensus to form a just world order where the voices of the oppressed and voiceless are heard and the oppressors are punished.
