Iran Press/ Middle East: At the official invitation of Syrian President Bashar Assad, Iran President Ebrahim Raisi will visit Damascus on Wednesday on a two-day trip heading a high-ranking Iranian delegation.
In an exclusive interview with IranPress news agency in Damascus, Nidal Muhanna stated that Raisi's visit to Syria indicates the redrawing of the political road map of the region and the world.
Muhnna added: "Iran has a great role to close Damascus and Ankara to each other and follows the results of Syria's approach to Saudi Arabia. Iran also follows up the issues of Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria. All these issues will be reviewed during the visit of the President of Iran to Damascus."
The representative of the Syrian parliament also said that economic and military ties and the Syrian war are also on the agenda of Raisi's visit.
"Raisi's visit to Damascus shows the historical relationship between Syria and Iran as two axes of resistance, Syria and Iran has stood together in war and peace," added the MP.
