Iran Press/ Iran News: In a message on Sunday, Ebrahim Raisi congratulated Iran's youth wrestling team on their success in the world Greco Roman championships in Bulgaria winning first place.
Raisi, in this message, stated: "This success in winning the championship, along with the championship of the national youth freestyle wrestling team, is a symbol of a proud and capable nation that is moving forward with great strides towards victory and honor."
In a message, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament also congratulated the Iranian youth wrestling team for winning the 2022 World Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The U20 Greco-Roman World Championship will be wrapped up today in Bulgaria.
At the end of the first five weights, Iran's Iman Mohammadi snatched a gold medal at 63 kg; Abolfazl Chobani at 87 kg and Fardin Hedayati at 130 kg managed to win silver medals for Iran on the last day.
According to the results obtained in the first five weights of the competitions, the Iranian team was crowned champion with might, while Ukraine and Azerbaijan will compete for second place.
The U20 Iranian freestyle wrestling team stood second in the Bulgaria world championships yesterday.
