Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking to Iran Press on the sidelines of the open session of the parliament on Sunday with the attendance of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi, Ebrahim Rezaee said that Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met and both underlined the need to expand cooperation in different fields, discussing Palestine and Afghanistan.
"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is to visit Iran soon," Rezaee said.
Ghalibaf also met his Turkish counterpart Mustafa Şentop, stressing the expansion and deepening of bilateral ties.
Ebrahim Rezaee added: "During the trip to Istanbul, Iran's Parliament Speaker met with Ibrahim Boughali, his Algerian counterpart, to discuss promoting political, economic, and cultural relations between the two countries."

Rezaee emphasized that to facilitate the expansion of economic ties and resolve problems, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf also met and talked with Iranian exporters, elites, activists, and Turkish investors active in Iran.
Referring to the objectives of the PUIC Conference, Ebrahim Rezaee stated: "The PUIC attendees focused on Afghan migration to other countries, mainly Iran, which is increasing due to cold, food, and fuel paucity, so all agreed on the establishment of a national and transnational government with the participation of all Afghan groups."
Highlighting the pressures Palestinians have borne, especially in Gaza Strip and West Bank, Rezaee said that all the countries that attended the PUIC conference unanimously urged the necessity to support Palestine and Palestinians.
Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf departed for Turkey on Dec. 1, 2021, to attend the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC).
The 16th PUIC conference was held on December 9 - 10, 2021, with "Palestine, migration, and Afghanistan" being among the issues to be discussed.
