Iran Press/Asia: Holding the Palestinian flag, the Pakistani youth shouted slogans against the Israeli regime and the US and called both the root of corruption and atrocities in the world. Humira Tayyaba, the team leader of the Save Gaza Campaign that is the body that organized the demonstration, told Iran Press: " The Palestinians have paid a huge price, but they have told the world that they are victorious, they have succeeded in their narrative and told that no one can defeat Palestine and no one can push out the Palestinians from their land."
A university student said: "It was a very horrific year, a year of mass murders and genocide, intense oppression on people of Gaza and Palestine, we have seen horrific images coming from Palestine every day, however, it's also important to remember that it's been a year of courage and bravery."Social activist Farzana Barri told Iran Press: "We have heard about the holocaust but now we have seen with our eyes that what's happening in Gaza for humanity is so shameful and a kind of helplessness. All the people around the world who are human rights activists and have a sense of social justice and humanity feel so helpless."
Farhad Naqvi, a well-known revolutionary poet and writer said: "There are a few countries who are striving for the support Palestine in the struggle and stood by them and keeping this issue alive. I would love to send my Sallam and gratitude to the government of Iran, Hezbollah, the people of Yemen, particularly Houthis, and Syria for they are firm in their narrative and stance and for they have stood by the oppressed people of Palestine.
Gaza was alive, Gaza is alive, and will be alive."Still, the internationally famous human rights activist Tahira Abdullah expressed her deep thoughts with Iran Press and criticized the Islamic world for the divisions such as the Shia-Sunni dichotomy they are suffering.
At the end of the protest, a statement was issued calling on the Pakistani government to convene an OIC meeting to stop Israeli aggression, openly in support of Iran, and provide all support possible.
The demonstrators also called for the two-state solution to be included in the government's agenda, a message of condolence and support should also be sent to the families of the leaders of the resistance, Ismail Haniyeh and Seyyimed Hassan Nasrallah.
The participants offered the evening prayer at the protest ground and prayed for the oppressed Muslims of Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.
